Nice !!! With track on only gps iphone !!!!

Excellent app, invaluable as a route finder and guide.

I was pressed to find something quick to use before a backpacking trip. This worked perfectly. Intuitive, easy to use, and has Canadian maps! The only problem I had was Garmin Connect and Strava wouldnt accept the GPX file because theres no timestamps. It would also be great to be able to choose GPS record interval to stretch battery life in some cases.

Been years since I had this app installed. Still outdated maps. How outdated? The railway near my house has been torn up to make a hiking trail and neither the trail not the tracks are on the map.

Its a good app with nice maps but it would be better if it was more updated and you could move around. Still good app tho

Good free map of Canada. Sick and tired of other so called free maps with all the junk offered. Would be nice to see some more back road maps :)

I was in Valhalla Recreation Area near Slocan, BC. There are trails and Forestry Service Roads, all marked. I wanted to plan a trip to Little Slocan. Google maps and Apple maps had nothing. This app has the altitude but no trails. Which is odd, since thats what this app is for. These are well travelled trails

Ive used this app for wilderness backpacking and on numerous fly-in fishing trips. It is the best topo mapping app I have ever used. The ability to trace the route through a circuitous boat ride and have the resulting distance is great for planning your day of fishing on large complicated lakes (and not getting lost).

Have only had this a short time, but maps load smoothly and look good on my iPhone 4. Landmarks get labelled easily, location marked as well. Only quibble: helps to know the map name if you want to download a map for another location. Doing a search and not using the right map/town name doesnt yield an error message, just nothing happens. On the other hand, if you do get a map nearby but not on the money, this app shows you the name of the adjacent map and makes downloading very easy; the maps are displayed seamlessly too, which I really like!

Ridiculously good for a free app. Downloads can be a bit sluggish, but map navigation (including prompting for download of adjacent tiles) is very smooth and well implemented. A very pleasant surprise.

I have been very happily using this app for a couple of years on the iPad and iPhone. The latest update that provides native scaling on the iPad is great. I live in Parry Sound and have all of the area maps downloaded for quick reference when not on WiFi or I dont want to turn on data. Really quite excellent.

Very nicely done. Does what you need, free maps. Wish this was available for the U.S. too.
